Highlights for April 28, 2022
The weather was under 40 with a stiff wind into our faces on Hole 1 but, unfortunately, that isn’t new. The weather next Monday should be much better!
While almost everyone’s scores ballooned, especially on the first two holes, Walter Kerr and Dan Lombardi lapped the field with net 33’s (four strokes better than anybody else). They also shot the two lowest gross scores, 43 and 42 respectively.
Walter’s round was fueled by two birdies, one on #3 and the other on #9. Mike O’Connor wasn’t to be left out, birdieing #3 for the second day in a row, this time with a 20-foot, downhill putt that jammed itself in the middle of the hole between the flag stick and the edge of the cup.
