September 1 Highlights
Only 15 Senior League golfers showed up to play holiday golf, but 9 of us shot bogie golf or better, led by Rick Atkins who came in at even 40. Net scores were bunched more than usual from a low of 34 to a high of 44 with all but one being below 40. Low net was shared by Jeff Garland and Richard Wetherbee at 34. Rick Atkins, Steven Levy, and Mike Mickelsen came in at net par.
Hole #3 yielded the only two birdies to Dave Sameiro and Bill Sciarretta. Dave hit a big draw with a 4-iron to about 80 yards from the green. He dropped his approach inside 5 feet and then knocked it in.
