Twenty-five golfers turned up Monday, April 5th for the official start of The Senior Golf League season. The day started out cloudy and cold, but the sun peeked out by late in the round. Scores were predictably a little higher than normal after the long winter layoff and on a windy day, but there were a couple of exceptions. Bill Sciaretta was the only golfer to break 40 with a 39. He also had low net with 31. Mike O’Connor, Ric Magro, and Peter Southwick all shot gross 41. No birdies today. Hope we’ll see you on Thursday.
Note: Due to a reporting error, Mike O’Connor’s score was originally attributed to John Demoy. Sorry about that, Mike.
