The first tournament of the year was an exciting Four Person Scramble with the team of Peter Southwick, Ros Paine, Ken Han, and Mary Snow edging out Tom Gannon, Mike Spence, Jay Flynn, and Danny Keough in a tie breaker. Both teams shot a net 34. In third was the team of Mark Koepper, Bill Sciarretta, and Arthur Barbera who needed a tie breaker to beat two other teams who also shot a 35.
Bill Sciarretta and Peter Southwick were closest to the pin on holes 7 and 9 respectively, and Arthur Barbera won the new “greenie” contest.
