June 3 Scramble Tournament Results
Thirty-five golfers signed up for the June Scramble making up 8 4-person teams and one 3-person team. Another non-tournament foursome played as well.
Team 7 consisting of John Fischer, Bob Kvaal, Jim Colantropo, and Mary Snow took first place with an outstanding score of 31. Team 2 (Bob Girard, Mike O’Connor, Bill Sciaretta, and John Mungo) scored 33 to take second place. Two teams scored 34, but Team 1 (Jerry Cameron, Jeff Garland, Dan Lombardi, and Arthur Barbera won the tiebreaker. Both teams parred #2 (the hardest handicap hole), but Team 1 got a birdie on hole #1 to win it.
Steven Levy had closest to the pin on #7 at 3’1″. Peter Yee had closest to the pin on #9 at 4’8″.
